Bus Transport

Bardy School offers bus transportation for Students who require the service. Students who are not enrolled in this service will not be able to ride the school bus. In case of address change, Parents must inform the Administration Office one week prior to provide time for reorganizing the bus routes. Students are responsible for obeying the rules and regulations of the bus as the bus is considered an extension of the school.  

  1. Students are to enter the bus in an orderly manner, and approach it only when it is at a complete halt/stop.
  2. No speaking or shouting offensive language and no disruptive or disorderly conduct of any kind on the bus in order to ensure the safety of all passengers and drivers concentration on the road.
  3. No throwing of any objects.
  4. No eating or drinking except water.
  5. Students must be present 5 minutes before the bus is scheduled to arrive for pick up. The bus driver will not wait more than 1 minute if the student does not show. It is not the responsibility of the bus attendant to call the Parents before passing by them unless in dire cases or situations of emergency. In case of complaints, the parents should contact the school Administration Office.
  6. No students will be left alone in a designated waiting area. Parents must receive Students or else they must inform the Administration Office with an official letter. Otherwise, the Student will be returned to school campus and Parents will come to school campus to take their child back home.
  7. Students should follow the rules and directions of the bus drivers and the bus superintendent, which may include assignment of seats. In case of suggestions/complaints, the Parent should discuss matters with the Administration Office directly and not with the bus driver or superintendent.
  8. Since school buses are considered an extension of the school, misbehavior on them will be treated in the same manner as it would be at school. Consequences for inappropriate behavior on school buses will include a loss of bus privileges as per the following offences.
  9. 1st Offence will lead to a 3 days bus transport suspension. The 2nd Offence will lead to 1 week bus transport suspension. The 3rd Offence will lead to a full suspension of the bus transport till the end of the academic school year.
  10. No Student may change the bus or the dropped off location without a valid written request to be submitted at least one day prior from the Parents and an approval from the Administration Office. No phone calls will approve such an action without a written request.
  11. Any Student who is going home with another Student must submit a written approval of both Parents that must be verified and approved by the Administration Office. No phone calls will approve such an action without a written request.
  12. Parents are not expected to pay any financial means to either the bus drivers or the bus superintendent.
  13. Gate 5 is the designated area for Parents who drop off Students while Gate 2 is restricted only for the school buses without exception, and that’s for Student safety.
